Lahore: The mother of former President Supreme Court Bar Association Asma Jahangir, Sabiha Jeelani, died in Lahore at the age of 86, here on Sunday.
According to family sources, the funeral prayer of the mother of famous human right activists would be held on 4 pm in Gulberg area of Lahore.
The deceased was the wife of Gulam Geelani and daughter of famous writer Maulana Salahuddin Ahmed.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister Punjab and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain expressed their sorrow over the demise of Sabiha Jeelani.
