Islamabad: Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said on Friday that he has reservations over holding election under army’s supervision.
Speaking to media, the Maulana said that the election should be held under the supervision of judiciary.
He said that he had never seen such a non-serious leader of opposition like Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
Fazl said that according to the constitution prime minister would invite the opposition leader to talk about caretaker setup.
“But here opposition leader is busy in suggesting names of proposed caretaker prime minister without any invitation,” he added.
He said whether the name of the prime minister would be finalized through SMS.
He noted that Akhtar Mengal’s visit to Islamabad should be utilized and Balichistan’s sense of deprivation would have to be addressed.
Commenting over the postponement of Putin’s visit to Pakistan, the JUI-F leader said that the history repeated itself as once Pakistan had established relations with the United States ignoring Russia in the past.
