Islamabad: UN delegation on missing persons and forced disappearances have completed its visit in Pakistan.
In a media briefing on Thursday,delegation applauded the Supreme Court of Pakistan for its efforts in revering the missing people in Balochistan. The delegation members said that most of the missing persons were recovered by the SC efforts.
The UN delegation said that it had information that 14,000 people were missing in Balochistan while the provincial government told it that only 100 people were missing.
The UN delegation said it’s mandate was only to meet family members of the missing people.
