T20 warm up: England set 112 target against Pakistan

Colombo: In a warm up match of ICC World T20 on Wednesday, England set a target of 112 runs against Pakistan at Paikiasothy Saravanamuttu Stadium in Colombo.

England won the toss and chose to bat. English batsmen were looking uncomfortable against the strong spin and pace attack of Pakistan. Middle order Luke Wright was only English man who stayed at the crease for a while and made 38 runs. England were all out on 111 runs in 19.3 overs.

Pakistan’s Saeed Ajmal took four wickets for 14 runs while Raza Hassan and Yasir Arafat bagged two wickets each.

The green shirts defeated traditional rival India by five wickets in a thrilling warm up match on Monday.
