Islamabad: The government has given 30-day deadline to the judicial commission, probing the May, 2 raid in Abbottabad that killed Osama bin Laden last year.
The Ministry of Law Justice and Parliamentary Affairs has issued a notification here on Tuesday, asking the commission, headed by justice retired Javed Iqbal, to complete its investigation and submit the report on October 12.
A high powered commission was formed following the killing of al-Qaeda chief in garrison town of Abbottabad near principle military academy by the US commandos.
The US operation stirred anger among Pakistanis over the failure of security institutions to foil foreign intrusion in the country.
