Karachi: Pakistan One Day International skipper Misbah-ul-Haq has comparatively better T20 International record than Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
Statistics show that Misbah ul Haq, who made his T20 debut again Bangladesh in 2007, has scored 788 runs in 34 innings with an average of 37.52 while Dhoni, who played his first T20 against South Africa in 2006 scored 565 runs with an average of 29.74 in 30 innings.
Misbah, who left the T20 cricket after criticism from the cricket lovers for slow play, hit 26 sixes and 45 fours and made three half centuries in the new format of the game. His highest score is 87 against Bangladesh.
On the other hand, Dhoni smashed 17 sixes and 32 fours and has not scored any century or half century yet. His best is 48 runs inning against Australia.
Misbah lead the Pakistani side in eight T20 internationals and Pakistan have won six matches under his leadership while India played 29 games under Dhoni’s leadership and won only 13 games.
