Peshawar: At least three people were killed and another injured when a roof of a house caved-in in Peshawar city of Pakistan Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa province on Thursday.
Police and rescue sources said that the incident occurred in Gulbarg area of the city when a roof of a house collapsed due to heavy rain in the city.
Hospital sources said that a woman and two children were among the dead.
On Wednesday, three minors were killed and another injured when the roof of a house caved in at Mehrabadi in Islamabad’s rural area.
The country’s met office says that widespread rain and thundershower with isolated heavy falls is expected in Sindh and Kashmir, while scattered rain and thundershower with isolated heavy falls likely in Punjab including Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, eastern parts of Balochistan including Zhob, Kalat, Sibi, Nasirabad and Makran divisions and Gilgit-Baltistan.
