Karachi: Provincial education minister Sindh, Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq, on Tuesday telephoned Awami National Party (ANP) Sindh chapter president Shahi Syed and Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) leader Imtiaz Sheikh and discussed issues regarding the implementation of local bodies system in Sindh.
Talking to media, Shahi Syed said that the education minister informed him that the draft of the local bodies system was still not finalised.
It is to be mentioned here that earlier PML-F and ANP celebrated the Commissioner System in Sindh but MQM showed reservations on the system.
Now the government on the pressure of MQM is implementing the local bodies system across Sindh.
