Peshawar: A judicial magistrate on Saturday sent Jahangir Khan, an accused of famous Pashto singer Ghazala Javed murder case, to jail on 15-day judicial remand.
Police pleaded the magistrate to extend his physical remand, however, the court rejected the plea and sent the accused to jail on 15-days judicial remand.
The police had arrested Jahangir, Ghazala Javed’s ex-husband, during raid in Khalsa areas of Peshawar on August 29.
Ghazala Javed and her father were shot dead by unknown gunmen in Dabgari area of the city, on June 18 this summer.
The police lodged case against her former spouse, Jehangir Khan, and two others.
