Lahore: A local court of Lahore on Friday sent Malik Ishaq, a leader and co-founder of banned outfit Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ), to jail on 14 days judicial remand.
Ishaq, who was arrested by the security agencies on Thursday as he returned from Saudi Arabia after performing the Umrah, was produced before judicial magistrate. The magistrate sent the leader to jail for 14-days on judicial remand after hearing the details.
Ishaq has been alleged of fierce speech.
He was released by the Lahore High Court (LHC) after nearly 14 years behind bars over his alleged role in numerous sectarian murders and the attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team.
