Cardiff: Hampshire beat Yorkshire by 10 runs to win the domestic T20 title for the second time in three seasons.
Yorkshire managed to reach 140 off 8 in total overs in reply to the target of 151.
David Miller hit 72 not out off 46 balls but it was not enough for Yorkshire in their first T20 final.
Hampshire won the toss for the second time on finals day and decided to bat.
Jimmy Adams scored 43, James Vince 36, and Simon Katich 35 for the winners.
Ryan Sidebottom took two wickets for Yorkshire.
Yorkshire lost early wickets but Miller kept the team’s hopes alive as he smashed three sixes off four balls in one Sean Ervine over on his way to a 35-ball half-century.
Yorkshire needed 36 runs off 18 balls and then 14 off six deliveries, before Tim Bresnan was out for in the first ball of the 20th over.
Chris Wood then dismissed Rich Pyrah and Azeem Rafiq to give victory to Hampshire.
