Islamabad: Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rehman Malik telephoned his Indian counterpart Sunil Kumar felicitated him on assuming the charge of his office as Indian home minister.
In an statement issued from Ministry of Interior, both the ministers expressed resolve to bring the culprits of Mumbai attack to justice through mutual cooperation.
Both the ministers also agreed to work for the greater interest of the peoples of both countries and to resolve issues through mutual understanding.
Malik assured his counterpart of full cooperation of Pakistan for uprooting terrorism from the region.
During conversation, Rehman Malik invited Kumar to visit Pakistan. The Indian home minister conveyed Eid greetings to Rehman Malik.
