Islamabad: Petroleum Minister Dr Asim has said that prices of petroleum are not being increased and the prices would remain unchanged until Eid.
Speaking to media he said that Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) had not sent summary regarding increase in the prices so far. However, he said the prices would not be increased whatever suggestion the OGRA gives.
He said the decision had been taken following the directions of President Asif Ali Zardari.
Earlier, media reports said   prices of petrol and diesel were being increased and a summary has been sent to the petroleum ministry in this regard.
