Gold Coast: Pakistan Under-19 cricket team on Sunday defeated Australia by 6 wickets in a first match of Youth ODI series played at Kerrydale Oval, Gold Coast.
Pakistan won the toss and elected to field first. KR Patterson with 83 runs was the only player who showed resistance to the Pakistani bowler. Aussies were bowled for 187 runs 47th over.
Pakistan’s Mohammad Nawaz took three wickets while Ehsan Adil got two wickets.
Replying to this, Pakistan accomplished the target in 46 overs for the loss of four wickets. Young Babar Azam scored 79 runs and Imam-ul-Haq made 39 runs while Umer Waheed hit unbeaten 34 runs.
Pakistan lead the three match series by 1-0.
