Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Senator Faisal Raza Abidi who lost his seat of PPP Karachi Division President due to unknown reasons has now started defending President Asif Ali Zardri in Islamabad’s TV shows.
Abidi says he resigned while PPP insiders said he was removed as Karachi division president.
On Thursday night Faisala Abidi was invited as s guest in ARY TV’s “Pakistan Tonight” where he went on saying that judges are criminals.
Faisal Abidi, whose party’s attempt to bring down SC by Malik Riaz was foiled by media and the judiciary itself, used abusive language against the judges, especially Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.
Mr Abidi while putting his efforts to prove that he is the most loyal man of Zardari, accused the chief justice of copying dialogues of late Indian actor Amrish Puri while passing remarks about the president.
“CJ says we won’t give immunity to President Zadari as we didn’t do in the case of Prime Minister,” Faisal Raza Abidi recited from a paper and added”: Who the hell are you to pass such comments, you copy dialogues of Amrish Puri now i would reply in Nana Patekar style”
“Who sought immunity from you,” he added.
He also criticized the CJ for his son’s involvement in alleged corruption. Abidi’s tone made the impression he believe as though CJ was himself involved in the corruption.
The PPP Senator said that the country would destroy if Justice Chaudhr was not removed from his seat, adding that he didn’t accept the Iftikhar Chaudhry as CJ.
It is to mention here that Hamid Mir, a senior columnist and TV show host, this weak said in column that all the allegations against the CJ’s son were false and those who were behind the episode would soon be hiding their faces
