Islamabad: Dr Arsalan Iftikhar Chaudhry, a son of Supreme Court Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, has raised objections over a NAB joint investigation team and dubbed the committee partial.
Speaking to media after appearing before the NAB team, he said he only received one letter from the NAB and dismissed the claim that he was served second notice.
Chaudhry said he had sent two letters to the NAB, seeking information about the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) but didn’t get response so far.
Sources said that Arsalan Iftikhar on Thursday presented his statement in writing, saying the formation of the JIT was beyond the constitutional mandate.
He said the JIT members were biased.
