Islamabad: After holding talks with Awami National Party (ANP), Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has contacted Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) to invite its leadership to an all parties roundtable conference.
According to sources, PTI’s General Secretary, Dr Arif Alvi has confirmed MQM’s approaching PTI leadership with regard to the proposed conference.
“Response in this regard is yet reserved as PTI leader, Imran Khan, is out of the country,” the PTI leader said.
The MQM leadership also met Awami Muslim League (AML) leader Sheikh Rashid Ahmed in order to invite him in the all parties roundtable conference.
The AML leader welcomed MQM’s invitation and said that the dialogue across all boards is necessary in order to resolve the matters in KPK, Balochistan and Karachi.
