Karachi: Ruet-e-Hilal Council Secretary General Khalid Ejaz Mufti has said that the first Ramaz would be on Sunday, July 21 as crescent was likely to be sighted on Friday.
According to the council the moon is likely to be seen in Gawadar, Jeewani, Karachi , Dadu areas of Balochistan and Sindh respectively if sky was clear.
The secretary predicted that Eid crescent would easily be sighted on August 19.
The meeting of Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee would be held in Karachi on Friday (July 20) for sighting the crescent of Ramzan-ul-Mubarak 1433 A.H.
The meetings of Zonal/ district Ruet-e-Hilal Committees Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) would be held in the building of Ministry of Religious Affairs near General Post Office (GPO). And the meeting of zonal committees would be held at various places in their respective areas on Friday (Shahbab 29, 1433 Hijri).
