Lahore: A low intensity earthquake shook parts of Punjab on Monday, media reports said on Tuesday.
According to reports, the tremors were felt in Faislabad, Lahore, Khanewal, Chiniot, Sahiwal, Gojra, Shahkot, Toba Tek Singh and other area of the province.
Panic gripped the area people who came out of their houses reciting verses from the Holy Quran.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department said the intensity of the quake was recorded 3.7 magnitude on the Richter scale and it was centered about 350 kilometers from Lahore .
However no loss of life or property has been reported from the affected areas.
