Rawalpindi: The Anti-Corruption Court of Rawalpindi again on Tuesday issued arrest warrants for Malik Riaz, the real estate tycoon and main character behind Arsalan Iftikhar case, his son and five other accused.
According to The News Tribe correspondent, Justice Chaudhry Amir Mohmmad Khan has issued arrest warrants for seven people including Malik Riaz and his son Ali Ahmed Riaz in land corruption case filed in 2005.
The judge has directed to police to arrest the accused and produce them before the court on July 23.
The same court had issued arrest warrants for these seven accused on June 21.
Riaz seems to be in the hot water after his botched attempt to malign the Supreme Court of Pakistan by launching serious allegations against the Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhamamd Chaudhry.
He is also allegedly involved in another land scam involving Rs7 billion.
