Pallekele: Pakistan were all out for 226 runs in their first inning of third test match against Sri Lanka on Sunday.
Sri Lanka won the toss and opt to field first against Pakistan. Pakistan lost four wickets in first session as their top order collapsed again in series. Pakistan were all out for 226 third session of day one. Asad Shafiq was top scorer with 75 runs while the skipper Misbah-ul-Haq played 44 runs inning.
Sir Lanka’s Thisara Perera took 4 wickets for 63 runs.
Replying to this young Junaid Khan provided early break through to Pakistan, taking LD Chandimal and KC Sangakkara’s wicket in a same over.
At stumps on Day 1 Sri Lanka were 42 for 3.
