Lahore: The Lahore High Court judge Justice Ahjazul Hassan on Tuesday issued notices to Secretary Health, Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), and Young Doctors Association (YDA) for July 6 and remarked that young doctors’ strike in Punjab province was against their oath.
While hearing a case against young doctors’ strike, Justice Hassan said that law and constitution did not give right to doctors to go on strike. He said that doctors were sons of nation they should be treated well.
It is pertinent to mention here that at least 10 patients including a child have been died in the province due to the strike.
