Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) has finally decided to join the Federal Cabinet on Monday and 15 of its members took oath as the ministers and minsters of state of the federal cabinet here at President House, Islamabad.
President Asif Ali Zardari administered oath to eight ministers and seven ministers of state.
The ministers who took oath includes Sheikh Waqas Akram, Talib Nikai, Chaudhry Wajahat Hussain, Liaquat Abbas Bhatti, Sardar Bahadur Ahmed Khan, Anwar Ali Cheema, Jaam Mohammad Yousuf and Ghous Baksh Mehar.
The ministers of state who took oath as federal ministers include Jawad Sheraz, Sardar Shahjahan, Malik Noman Ahmed Langrial, Rana Asif, Saeed Khan Mandokhel, Chaudhry Ghayyas and Akram Masih Gill.
Earlier twenty-seven ministers and eleven ministers of state belonging to PPP, MQM, ANP and BNP-A took oath as the federal ministers. The total number of Federal Cabinet members have now reached the figure of 53 with PPP leading the cabinet followed by PML-Q.
