Islamabad: A presidential order to constitutionally protect former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani’s decisions, during April 26 to June 19, has been issued here on Sunday.
According to report, the order states that the no one will be able to challenge Gilani’s any decision which he took after his conviction from the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
Pakistan’s apex court on June 19, ruled that Mr Gilani stood disqualified as member of the National Assembly. The court said the office of the prime minister fell vacant since April 26, when he was convicted by the seven member bench of apex court for not implementing court orders of writing letter to Swiss authorities to reopen graft cases against President Asif Ali Zardari.
