Karachi: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Tuesday telephoned IG Sindh Police, Mushtaq Shah and DG Rangers, Major General Rizwan Akhtar, and directed them to improve their patrolling in Karachi in order to maintain law and order situation in the city.
The Chief Minister directed them to keep a close watch at the miscreants, trying to sabotage the peace of the city.
The Chief Minister ordered security officials to safeguard the lives and wealth of people of Karachi.
A strike has been called by the traders on Wednesday, against the killing of a brother of an ex-MQM MPA in the Shershah scrap market.
MQM Rabita Committee and Karachi Transport Ittehaad have also endorsed the strike.
