Beijing/ Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has said that it would be inappropriate to expect that Pakistan would fight war terrorism alone.
In an interview with Chinese media during his visit to Beijing to attend Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit, the president said that terrorism was a common problem for the world and Islamabad was putting its efforts against it.
Zardari said that China had extended every possible assistance in fight against terrorism. He said Pakistan and China enjoyed brotherly relations and they needed to eliminate hurdles emerging owing to different languages.
The president said that Shanghai Conference would have a key role in regional development in the future, adding that Pakistan had applied for the permanent membership of the organization.
He said resolution of regional conflicts was linked to Shanghai conference.
