Quetta: At least two paramilitary soldiers were killed when militants attacked a check-post in Awaran district of Balochistan, sources said on Saturday.
The sources said that unknown armed opened firing at a the check-post and managed to escape.
The bodies were shifted to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Balochistan has been witnessing a low-level insurgency by nationalists, demanding more provincial autonomy while some others fighting for freedom.
The militants kill Punjabi and Pashtoons settlers in Baloch populated areas of the South Western province of Pakistan.
