Islamabad: Team leader of Pakistan’s nuclear program Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan is likely to announce launching a political party or to join any party on June 6, 2012.
“To pull out the country from prevalent challenges and crisis the national hero is going to announce his political stance next week,” Daily Express quotes close friends of the scientist.
Dr. AQ Khan has already made consultations with his close friends regarding political stance keeping in view of Pakistan facing a quagmire of problems ranging from power outages to economy crisis.
Whether Dr. Khan is going to join any political party or not? When this question was asked from Khaursheed Zaman, Chief Coordinator of the prominent scientist he put aside all rumours prevailing the issue.
“Dr. Khan will represent emotions of 180 million Pakistanis in his political life of action,” he was to say.
Many veteran politicians including Maulana Fazlur Rehmna of Jamiat e Ulema Islam, Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf president Javed Hashmi have contacted Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan.
For last many weeks during his lectures, keynotes and addresses, Dr. Khan is repeatedly saying that this is not the time keep the silence. His silence will be broken at a press conference on June 6.
