Karachi: At least five people were killed in what appeared to be fresh wave of targeted killing in Karachi on Wednesday.
Unknown assailants opened fire at two youth in Orangi Town. The youth sustained severe injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital where they succumbed to their injuries. Police said the youth fell prey to sectarian targeted killing. They were identified as Jauher and Ahmer.
Moreover, two bodies wre recovered within the remits of Nepair police station adjacent to Timber market.
Police said the deceased were killed after being abducted. The bodies were yet to identified.
Meanwhile, a man, identified was shot dead near Kala Pul area of the metroplice.
Sindh police have been put on high alert following the  fresh spate of killing in Karachi, home to at least 20 million people and commercial hub of the nuclear armed nation.
