Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Zaka Ashraf on Friday has announced an award money of Rs 0.4 million to each member of the Asia Cup winning team.
Pakistan defeated Bangladesh after a thrilling match by two runs in the final of the Asia cup 2012.
Talking to media, the Chairman also announced an award money of 0.2 million for the team management.
“Match fees of the players are increased by 10 percent,” Ashraf said adding that the salary of the players would be raised by 25 percent.
The chairman further announced that the central contract of the players would be announced on May 25, 2012 (tomorrow).
