Karachi: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Tuesday condemned the violent incidents across Karachi and said that the rally was a part of conspiracy against the solidarity of Sindh.
Unknown gunmen opened fire on a rally taken out from Lyari against Muhajir province, leaving 11 people dead, including two women and injuring at least 35 injured, among them a reporter on Tuesday.
In a statement issued by MQM Rabita Committee, the party said that creating law and order situation in the city is not a message of love for Sindh but a clear conspiracy against the province.
“In the name of rally they have killed and wounded several people in the city,” the committee said adding that such incidents are unbearable.
“Those people who were involved in attacking police with grenades, are also involve in today’s incident,” they said.
The Rabita Committee further said that instead of violent actions by miscreants, people should remain calm and maintain peace in their respective areas.
