Washington: Pakistani Ambassador in United States (US) Sherry Rehman on Sunday said that Pakistan wanted U.S. President Barak Obama should apologise on Salala incident.
Pakistan and US relationship is going through a bitter period of their history after the killing of 24 Pakistani soldiers in US led NATO attack on its Pak-Afghan border’s check-post.
Sherry Rehman said that the relation of Pakistan and U.S. are not in good relationship from last six months but we want to set it on normal level.
“The unconditional invitation to participate in NATO’s Chicago conference is the success for Pakistan,” she said.
The ambassador also stressed that Pakistan doesn’t want any involvement in Afghanistan but a peaceful shifting of power to Afghans would help in maintaining peace in the world including its neighbors.
