Jaipur: Chennai Super Kings defeated Rajasthan Royals by 4 wickets in the low scoring 56th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) played at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, India.
Although Chennai was chasing a low target of 127 runs but it 19 overs for them to accomplish their mission for the loss of six wickets. Suresh Raina who scored 23 runs remained the leading run-scorer from Chennai side while the other batsmen failed to cross 20’s.
Although the target was a low one but the Rajasthan bowlers tried their best to restrict their rivals but failed in their attempt. Singh and Trivedi were the two Chennai bowlers who shared two wickets followed by Watson who took one wicket.
Earlier 33 runs from Brad Hodge helped Rajasthan Royals to set a low target of 126 runs.
