Islamabad: The Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid has threatened to part its ways with the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) over increasing load shedding in Punjab.
During a heated debate in Senate session on Thursday, PML-Q Senator Kamil Ali Agha said that people had become sick of unending load shedding and it would be impossible for his party to stay in the coalition government anymore.
Uproar was scene in the uproar house when mike of Agha was not allowed to speak over the issue. Leader of the House and PPP General Secretary Jehangir Badare advised Mr Agha to make noise on TV channels and don’t try to spoil house’s proceedings. He taunted that even a single unit of electricity was not added to the national grid during Musharraf’s government, which drew political support from Agha’s party.
