Karachi: British High Commissioner in Pakistan Adam Thomson on Friday said that he wished England cricket team to visit Pakistan.
Talking to media at the Birthday ceremony of Queen Elizabeth in Karachi, Thomson hoped that the England team would visit Pakistan soon.
“Inshalla one day not far away it will happen,” he said.
The High Commissioner said that it was wrong perception that Pakistan only faces political turmoil and terrorism adding that the country possesses a wonderful cultural and social heritage.
It is to be mentioned here that soon after attacks on SriLankan cricket team in Lahore the international cricket was suspended in the country where people are enthusiastic about cricket and its players.
