Washington: Pakistan’s former ambassador to US Hussain Haqqani has once again refused to return to Pakistan, saying there was no law in the country to ask expatriates to return to country.
Speaking to media on Wednesday, Haqqani said that hundreds of thousand Pakistani was living abroad and there was no law to bring them back to their country.
“Had I not been from Pakistan People’s Party, there would have neither been investigation into memo nor I would have been directed to come back to Pakistan,” he added.
Haqqani has said that he had not sought any concession rather begged for equal treatment.
He said that he would have return to Pakistan but it would depend circumstances.
