Karachi: Pakistan People’s Party Karachi division President Senator Faisal Raza Abidi has said that people of Gilgit Baltistan should also be considered Pakistanis, referring to sectarian killings in country’s northwestern region.
Speaking to media after attending a meeting on Karachi law and order presided over by President Asif Ali Zardari, Mr Abidi said that a man named Zaidi was killed in Karachi jail after severe torture.
The Senator seemed to b focusing the media talk on Shiites’ killings and termed the killers of the community as beasts.
“Some time you have to be a beast to kill a beast,” the PPP leader said.
Talking about Karachi law and order situation, he said that he had previously met Sindh Governor Ishratul Ibad with regard to law and order situation.
He was of the view that the PPP, the ANP and the MQM should make an alliance to contest next general election.
