Jaipur: Royal Challengers Bangalore outplayed Rajasthan Royals and defeated by 46 runs in the 30th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) played at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, India.
The Rajasthan Royals failed to chase a huge target of 190 runs and ended their innings on 143 runs for the loss of seven wickets. Dravid who scored 58 runs remained the leading run-scorer from Rajasthan side accompanied by Stuart Binny 20 while Rahane and Hogg scored 13 runs. The other batsmen failed to cross 10’s.
The Bangalore bowlers bowled well and didn’t give any chance to Rajasthan bowlers to free their arms. Appanna who took four wickets remained the highest wicket taker followed by Patel and Zaheer Khan who took two and one wicket respectively.
Earlier due to blistering innings of 76 runs by Dilshan and AB de Villiers’ 59 runs helped Bangalore to set a huge target of 190 runs.
