Germany: German football club Bayern Munich won the first semi-final of the UEFA Champions League by scoring 2-1 against the favorites Real Madrid at the Allianz Arena, Munich, a metropolitan of Germany.
Bayern Munich kept up their impeccable record of having never lost at home to Real Madrid.
The Bayern attempted several strikes at goal post of RM and succeeded in scoring two goals in the match.Mario Gomez was the hero of the match as he scored the decisive goal for Bayern in the 90th minute of the match accompanied by Ribery who scored the team’s first goal in the early 17th minute of the match.
The Real Madrid seemed to be totally out of color as they were not able to attempt much strikes on the rival post. The lone goal of the team was scored by Ozil in the 53rd minute of the match.
The result means that Bayern take a slim advantage into the second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu on April 25.
