Skardu:Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President Nawaz Sharif has said that his party would raise the issue of targeted killings in Gilgit-Baltistan.
He was talking to Ulema and religious scholars of various sects and school of thoughts in Skardu on Wednesday.
The former prime minister held a long meeting with the Ulema and assured them that the PML-N would raise the issue in the parliament.
The religious leaders apprised the PML-N chief about the precarious law and order situation in the region.
Nawaz Sharif said that the government had failed to bring peace in Gilgit-Baltistan as it had no interest in the region.
Sharif arrived Skardu on Tuesday to express solidarity with the army over the Gyari sector incident.
