Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Zaka Ashraf has said that Pakistan is a safe country for cricket.
Talking to media in Lahore on Wednesday, the PCB chairman said that Bangladesh cricket team would visit Pakistan on April 28 to play one T20 and a One Day International. He added that complete security would be provided to the visitors.
He said that International Cricket Council (ICC) had approved Bangladesh’s tour to Pakistan, adding that he had also invited ICC official to watch Pakistan-Bangladesh cricket match.
Ashraf said that Pakistan was a safe country for cricket and everyone in the country love the game. He said it was his first priority to restore International cricket in the country.
The chairman said that Bangladesh’s visit would give confidence to other cricket playing nations. He also thanked all the member boards of ICC on supporting Pakistan.
