Jamshoro: Acting Vice Chancellor University of Sindh, Prof. Dr. Parveen Shah, has advised the Deans of the Faculties to ensure the attendance of the teachers and students in classes and also inspect the ongoing academic activities in their concerned teaching departments.
She was presiding over a meeting of the Deans of the Faculties held on Saturday which was also attended by the Pro-Vice Chancellors of various campuses of the University.
The meeting also discussed course work during ongoing semester in various teaching institutes and departments.
The meeting also approved and fixed the last date April, 20 for submission of applications by the students for free-ship and bursary.
The meeting also discussed the setup of memorial corner in the name of Shah Mardan Shah Pir Pagara at the Institute of Sindhology.
The meeting also discussed the matters regarding award of foreign scholarships to teachers for PhD research programme from abroad Universities.
Meanwhile, the Director Sindh Development Study Centre (SDSC) University of Sindh has announced on Saturday that MPhil classes in Development Studies will commence from April, 26. The concerned candidates are hereby advised to attend the classes regularly.
