Islamabad: Supreme Court chief justice on Thursday ordered the establishment division secretary to send IG Balochistan police to jail.
The orders came as the three member bench of the apex court headed by the CJ resumed hearing a petition regarding Balochistan law and order situation and forced disappearances of political activists.
The CJ expressed displeasure over the absence of IG and said that the province was burning while was reality being hidden from the court.
The CJ inquired about the four remaining missing persons out of 7 who had gone missing on March 1. Three of them were produced during the last hearing while four others were recovered. However, the authorities didn’t produce them before the court which annoyed the court.
The court summoned secretary establishment immediately.
