Islamabad: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that parliament should be taken into confidence regarding President Asif Ali Zardari’s visit to India schedule don April 8.
Speaking during the joint sitting of the parliament headed by National Assembly Speaker Fehmida Mira on Thursday, he said that the instant visit was not in conformity with the stature of the president.
He said that Pakistan and India had sensitive relations, adding that New Delhi treated Pakistan like Achoot and was not ready to send its cricket team to Pakistan.
The PML-N stalwart said that President Zardari was not a common man and should keep in view country’s dignity and honour.
He also said that Hafiz Saeed was a Pakistani citizen and announcement of bounty against him was a point of concern.
