Islamabad: As International Monetary Fund delayed to provide fund for energy project in Pakistan, the Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda) has taken a step forward and contacted National Savings (NS) for fund raising for the projects.
According to the documents available to The News Tribe, the Wapda had asked NS to provide feasibility report to raise fund from the domestic money market for energy projects including Diya Mir Bhash Dam and other hider power projects.
The sources said that Wapda was ready to hold meeting with CDNA after having detailed view of the reports.
