Islamabad: Pakistani Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Wednesday telephoned Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif and stressed that the PML-N should attend the next meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security.
The Prime Minister informed Nawaz Sharif that the PCNS wanted to finalise proposals regarding ties with the US, NATO and ISAF, which is why it was important for the PML-N to attend the next meeting.
According to the spokesman for the PM House, during the telephone conversation Nawaz Sharif expressed the PML-N’s willingness to attend the next meeting of the PCNS.
It is to be mentioned here that due to different hindrances created by PML-N due to different reasons including hike in price of petroleum products the PCNS could not finalise its proposals for the session of Parliament.
