Islamabad: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has accepted Afghan President Hamid Karzai’s invitation to visit Afgahnistan, sources said on Wednesday.
The sources said that the Prime Minister accepted the invitation and said that he would soon visit Afghan Capital.
“We would also review the progress made toward political reconciliation in the context of the last bilateral meeting held in Islamabad,” the Prime Minister said.
Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai telephoned Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani via telephone, inviting him for visit to Kabul.
According to the sources, the Afghanistan President also expressed concern over emergency landing of PM Gilani’s plane on Tuesday.
The sources said that Karzai extended invitation to the Prime Minister to visit Kabul saying that the weather of Kabul has become considerably pleasant.
