Karachi: Situation in Karachi remained tense on Monday as six more people fell prey to targeted killing in Karachi since last Sunday night while a body was found in Khadda Market area of the city in the morning.
Protest in Lyari continued for second consecutive day on Monday after the killing of a youth in an alleged police encounter.
Enraged protesters have been throwing petrol bombs on law enforcers. Police fired tear gas to disperse the protesters but to no avail.
Two people including a woman were injured in a fresh incident of firing in Lyari.
Meanwhile President Asif Ali Zardari has convened a meeting on worsening law and order in the city.
