Karachi: At least seven people, including a cop, Rangers official and an Awami National Party (ANP) activist, were shot dead in the separate incidents of firing in the city, sources said on Friday.
They said that unidentified armed men killed a policeman in Garaden area of Karachi. The deceased was a member of Crime Branch of police.
In other incidents, a man was gunned down in Mangopir area while other was killed in Bilal Colony.
ANP, Sindh, General Secretary Bashir Jan said that the man murdered in Mangopir was a worker of their party, adding that such killings would spoil peace in the city.
Separately, firing incidents were also reported at Qasba Colony, Banaras, Gulistan-e-Jouhar and Delhi colony areas, killing four people and injuring several others, including a Rangers official.
