Karachi: Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad has said that action against extortionists would continue in Karachi and law enforcement agencies have been tasked to provide protection to traders.
Speaking to media along with Chief Minister Syed Qail Ali Shah after offering Fateha at the Mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, founding father of Pakistan, on Friday, the governor said that concept of becoming a nation emerged on March, 23,1940 and subsequently Pakistan emerged on the global map.
He said that democratic institutions were moving forward toward stability, which was imperative for the prosperity of people and the country.
